Is primarily for introspection and theorizing.
It is for venting my innermost thoughts.
Some of what I write may be honest theory, and some might just be nonsense worrying.
I am not looking for criticism; I do not need to be informed about how this or that does not fit one religion or another.
I will write all of my thoughts as though they were fact, but that does not necessarily mean that I believe they are.
This is meant only as a "what if" style diary of thoughts, not as something to persuade beliefs.
However, in the spirit of "what if", I invite you to share any thoughts, experiences, elaborations, or issues you have in the terms of said "what if". Just please play along and take the scenario as seriously as you would the plot of any good book or anime; with the knowledge that it isn't real, but with enough devotion to listen and react according to its "rules" nonetheless.

I don't intend to ever go back to it. I deleted it from FF.net, but I won't remove it from here.
I still hate it, but you know, archiving and all that rot. I think I'd regret it more if I completely destroyed it. This way I can still look back in shame haha.
Anyway. Most of my 'writing' goes on Tumblr nowadays. Not under this same username, though.
I've not attempted fanfiction again, of any sort. Or stories really for that matter. I know my writing isn't that great and the only halfway interesting ideas I get are either from dreams or are more like "okay but what if the universe worked this way".

Looking Back

I've looking back at some of my old writing. I still like the story ideas, but I can't stand my own style. Not to mention that one of my characters comes off VERY Sue in the first three chapters or so :\ Her mental state is supposed to deteriorate throughout the story and for whatever reason I guess I subconsciously assumed that meant she could start off as way-too-overly-perfect before she begins her decent into madness.
Also, I find myself far more eloquent at night when I'm exhausted. Why is that? I'm not a better writer at night, but my vocabulary becomes so much more colorful XD

While on one level I find myself disturbed by some of what the fandom has produced, I have recently found myself more torn on the issue when it comes to the fanfics rather than the art -- so much so in fact, that while I am overwhelmingly tempted to attempt writing one myself, I fear putting my name on it and releasing onto the internet and thereby official becoming one of "them".

The other two were just kind of ramblings in the raw version I write stuff in before seriously pruning stuff out (and with WAY too many commas because I like to stick them wherever there should be a pause in reading, not just where they're needed).

Well the definition of work is subjective. And as long as you're satisfied with it or believe it can help you improve, it's worth it. I myself enjoy opinionated passages sometimes as opposed to overly dramatic poetry about "the light in the darkness" and "my soul in two by the edge of your [metaphorical] blade, my love" blah blah blah. Granted, yes they are put together well and I compliment them, but the themes, like most movie plot ideas, are overused.
